about

"Don't Fail Me Now" offers deep, warehouse vibes that bring to mind an unlikely union of UK heavy hitters Jessie Ware and Radiohead. From the opening percussive bounce, to the ethereal vocal and synth dreamscape that cloaks the middle, it builds onward to its fevered, jittery climax (where everything is in its right place). This standout pushes and pulls like a strobe light on a dimmer switch circling the drain... almost out of range of its beckoning.

On "Less Method, More Madness", Tone of Arc displays some unique elements of his production skills and musicianship. Glitchy, seemingly off-time delays and echoes surround warbling bells and bass notes, playing "Marco Polo" with the grid. Clocking in at over ten minutes in length, much of the fun here is the length of the song itself. Liquid percolations and breathy chords cap this stellar release from Tone of Arc, leaving the listener to ponder if it's possible to experience rain at 50 fathoms...
